2) A reflection on the feedback you received from your last pitch.
I tried to be more personal. I wanted to create a dialogue between myself and my consumer instead of just trying to sell them something right out of the gate. I wanted them to feel like a real person and not just another consumer who would like to buy my product.
3) What did you change, based on the feedback?
I tried to look at the camera more and be more inviting. I also tried using a more calming tone of voice that would be well received.
You voice is very warm in this pitch. However I am not really sure what a watch has to do with it? In your pitch you mentioned a lot about the issue but didn’t really get in to exactly what your product does. I feel like it might be because your pitch is so short. I would suggest making it a bit longer and including more about your product. What kind of lock is it? A U lock?

Hey Kristiana! The idea of Wheel Watch seems very much needed, especially here at UF. Your pitch was friendly and kept short so it allows for a lot of question, which is good so that it keeps us engaged! I assume the app uses a GPS system to track your bike if stolen, but I suggest you clarify if the tracking apparatus is attached to a specific lock that Wheel Watch provides or do you attach it to your bike and your are free to use whatever lock you already own. Great idea (:

ReplyDeleteI have to admit bike theft isn't something that would come to mind as a huge need but i'm sure it is very common across college campuses. This would give students peace of mind after locking up their bike while they are in class. You delivered a great pitch by cutting to the chase on what your product is and who your market will be. My only question is can you use the GPS tracking device on multiple bikes or is is specific to the lock it comes with?
Hi Kristiana,
ReplyDeleteI have never had my bike stolen, partially because I have never owned a bike but I have had friends get theirs stolen. I like the idea of using GPS to find the bikes. The find my phone app has been a savior for me on many occasions. If your system uses something similar to that, you will really have something in my opinion.
